We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams in delivering innovative healthcare technology solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong healthcare domain expertise, excellent analytical skills, and hands-on SQL knowledge to support data analysis, requirements validation, and reporting. This role involves gathering business requirements, analyzing healthcare workflows, supporting Agile delivery teams, and ensuring solutions meet business and regulatory needs
Responsibilities- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
- Analyze current healthcare workflows and recommend process improvements.
- Work closely with development, QA, and Scrum teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Write and execute SQL queries to analyze data, validate business requirements, troubleshoot issues, and support testing.
- Perform data analysis and validate data integrity across healthcare applications and databases.
- Assist QA teams in creating test scenarios, validating business functionality, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Create business process documentation, BRDs, FRDs, workflow diagrams, and gap analyses.
- Identify business risks, dependencies, and process improvement opportunities.
- Ensure solutions comply with healthcare regulations, security standards, and organizational policies.
- Communicate effectively with business users, technical teams, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare workflows, terminology, and healthcare systems.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum software development teams.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data analysis, reporting, troubleshooting, and validation.
- Experience creating Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, and process maps.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools.
