We’re looking for a sharp, commercially minded Business Analyst who thrives at the intersection of business strategy and technology. Someone who can walk into a complex process, cut through the noise, and deliver clear, actionable outcomes that improve how we work and serve our customers.

You will be the bridge between business ambition and technology delivery. You’ll analyse data, processes and systems to uncover opportunities, translate stakeholder needs into robust requirements, and ensure every solution we build is effective, reliable, sustainable and aligned to real business outcomes.

This is not a pure documentation role. You will influence decisions, challenge assumptions, and help shape how the organisation operates.

Business Analysis & Requirements Delivery

• Plan and execute full BA activities: stakeholder analysis, requirements elicitation (JAD sessions & workshops), progressive elaboration, validation and traceability
  
• Conduct enterprise analysis — identify high-value opportunities, define business needs, scope and solution approaches, and build compelling business cases
  
• Deliver high-quality artefacts: Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), As-Is / To-Be process maps (including data entities and journeys)
  
• Assess proposed solutions against strategic goals and organisational readiness
  
• Manage requirements scope, communicate effectively through formal walkthroughs, and maintain controlled change management
  

Technical Support & Data Enablement

• Extract and analyse data from multiple sources to define clear reporting requirements
  
• Perform data transformations and connect diverse data touchpoints to support projects and reporting initiatives
  
• Make practical system amendments and configuration changes that enable better business processes
  

Project Delivery & Stakeholder Partnership

• Deliver projects and requirements on time, within scope and to quality standards while managing changing priorities with discipline
  
• Partner closely with Business Process Owners and key users — investigate root causes, resolve discrepancies quickly, and turn operational needs into clear, actionable requirements and analytics solutions
  
• Provide partial budget input and cost estimates based on project scope
  

Essential

• National Senior Certificate (Matric)
  
• Diploma in IT / Computer Science or FTI Business Analysis (or equivalent)
  
• 3+ years Business Analysis experience
  
• 3+ years in the Financial Services industry
  

Advantageous

• 3+ years Data Analysis / Business Intelligence experience
  
• 3+ years Data Warehousing / Business Intelligence exposure
