Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Product Management Business A nalyst will report to the Sr. Director, Product and Strategy at Accruit . This position plays an important role within the Product Management team; key duties include managing the scrum/agile development process, writing user stories under the guidance/direction of Product Managers, acting as a first point-of-contact to answer detailed questions from the Development Team , and supporting Product Management in a variety of other capacities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Acts as a scrum master for the Product Management and Development teams, and/or splits scrum process responsibilities with a representative on the Development team
  • Writes user stories under the guidance of Product Managers, and assists with the definition of new features and epics
  • Conducts testing work on completed user stories in the UAT environment on behalf of the Product Management team - validating against acceptance criteria
  • Collaborates with Product Managers in gathering and analyzing Voice-of-Customer information via analysis of usage data, gathering of notes from Sales and Customer Success, and discussions with end users
  • Triages support tickets, tackling those pertaining to bugs or major enhancement requests
  • Assists Customer Success in customer support activity, and in creating and updating customer-facing product guides and how-to materials

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience
  • 3 + years of business analyst (BA) or product management (PM) experience pertaining to software and/or business information products
  • Experience as a scrum master in the Agile/Scrum development methodology

Skills & Abilities:
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs through u ser workflow diagramming and voice-of-customer information collection and analysis
  • An inquisitive nature and enjoyment in analyzing status-quo processes and products and proposing alternative approaches or designs that could potentially deliver superior results
  • User story writing and e xperience with Agile management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of product development processes and Agile methodologies
  • Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and diagramming tools such as such as Visio, Lucidchart , Miro, Figma etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present complex information to technical and non-technical audiences

Compensation & Benefits
$76,000-$95,000 per year
