Summary

The Internal Audit team at Point72 focuses on business value-added services and makes meaningful contributions to the firm’s operational soundness. Audits and consulting engagements are selected based on enterprise risk and/or importance to the firm.

What you’ll do

You will work under the direction of the Head of Internal Audit to help the firm identify business risks, maintain the control environment, and identify opportunities for process improvement. After two years on the team, there may be internal mobility opportunities to work outside of internal audit. Specifically, you will:

  • Assess process risks, set audit objectives, and design audit programs
  • Provide practical, value-added recommendations to improve risk management, governance and control processes, and business operations
  • Prepare audit reports and visual displays
  • Consult/partner with senior leadership leading to recommend improvements to the control environment or operational effectiveness
  • Leverage technology to help automate audit programs
  • Analyze data to generate process control insights
  • Manage co-sourcing staff when projects require external audit consultants

 

What’s required

  • 10+ years of experience in auditing or consulting with financial services companies
  • B.A. / B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Science or Engineering required
  • CPA, CISA, CIA, or CFA certification required
  • IT audit knowledge, including knowledge of the software development life cycle, IT operations, and networks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership effectively
  • Thoroughness, time management skills, and attention to detail
  • Data analytic skills/ audit automation experience
  • Process management skills (TQM, Six Sigma)
  • An understanding of the investment management business and related risk implications
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards, including adherence to industry codes of conduct

The annual base salary range for this role is $190,000-$250,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
