Job Description for Automation Testing:
About the role:
The Automation resource will design and write automated scripts for functional testing, integration testing, performance testing, end to end, and/or regression testing. The engineer will be responsible for monitoring results, logging defects, and validation of defect fixes. In addition, she/he will be responsible for creating a robust automation framework ensuring scalability and reusability, and for maintaining a testing infrastructure that can be applied to multiple environments. The engineer will collaborate with different teams, leverage all existing scripts where possible and assist with the creation of common test environments for all applications.
- Strong with SDLC – Waterfall and Agile methodologies, STLC and Defect Management activities
- Strong in Core Java – OOPS concepts, Collection Frameworks
- Strong hands-on experience in Selenium concepts
- Exposure to Automation Frameworks – BDD Cucumber, Hybrid, etc
- Exposure to Jira, GitHub, and Jenkins
- Good programming skills and passionate to explore different tools and technologies.
- Possess competent technical skills and Passion for working with technology.
- Exposure in authoring Test scenarios & test cases
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate efficiently with Project stakeholders.
- Self-motivated individual who can work well with a team, collaborate to achieve project goals.
