Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Manager to join our Global Technology Organization’s Business Value Management team. The Business Value Management team provides support across all IT business functions, including Portfolio Governance, IT Business Office, and Vendor Management office. The role is a key financial resource for our newly created global capability center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT financials, excellent communication skills, and critical thinking skills. This role requires close collaboration with onshore teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery of technical solutions. The candidate must be willing to work on site 4 days a week in Hyderabad, during US Pacific Time zone.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
Track and report portfolio-wise headcount across towers, ensuring alignment with budget and workforce plans
Develop and monitor productivity, efficiency, and utilization metrics to drive operational excellence within MTIC
Provide insights on capacity, throughput, and resource allocation to optimize business performance
Partner with functional leaders to identify and implement cost optimization and efficiency initiatives
Establish standardized reporting dashboards for leadership visibility into MTIC operations
Ensure operational governance, compliance with corporate standards, and continuous improvement in business office processes
Act as the key Business Office operations point of contact for MTIC leadership
Communicate performance against financial plan and forecast, and work with team to deliver forecasted results
Enable showback/chargeback model on IT finances to the business
Process improvement efforts for budgeting, procurement processes
Special projects and preparation of ad hoc financial reporting, as needed
Collaboration: Work closely with onshore teams, to align offshore activities with overall business objectives and corporate policy. Comfortable being a key knowledge financial expert for GTO policies for our new Hyderabad office.
Communication: Facilitate effective communication between offshore and onshore teams, ensuring transparency and alignment on status, risks, and issues.
Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve technical and operational challenges to ensure smooth financial execution.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or requirements.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a technical discipline. A Master's degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial analysis with large budgets, forecasts, plans, comments and accruals or a similar role. Experience with IT finances within a Global Capability Center
Technical Skills: Expert in Microsoft Excel and Advanced PowerPoint skills. Strong dashboarding skills with PowerBI or Tableau. Experience with Oracle Fusion and Anaplan a plus. Strong understanding of technology financial rules in a global CPG firm.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire technical teams with financial information, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
Cultural Awareness: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and manage teams across different time zones.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a global organization with distributed teams.
Technology Business Management (TBM) or Apptio experience
CPA or MBA
Knowledge of technology financials within a global, legacy company
