We are hiring across multiple levels within our Fixed Line Core and IMS VOBB operations team - from skilled L2 Engineers to experienced Senior Engineers and strategic Team Leads. You Will Bring
Engineer (Level 2)• 2-4 years of experience in fixed line core or VOBB network operations• Basic understanding of SS7, SIGTRAN, SIP, and Diameter protocols• Foundational knowledge of IMS architecture and VoIP concepts• Familiarity with telecom nodes - DSR, STP, SBC, HLR/SDM• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments• Understanding of VOBB and fixed line call flows• Strong troubleshooting mindset and analytical skills
Senior Engineer (Level 3)• 4-8 years of experience in fixed line core and IMS/VOBB networks• Strong expertise in IMS Core functions - CSCF and TAS• Deep knowledge of SS7, SIGTRAN, Diameter routing, SIP, and RTP• Hands-on experience with Wireshark and protocol-level trace analysis• Understanding of high availability and network redundancy design• Scripting skills in Python or Shell (advantageous)• Detailed end-to-end understanding of VOBB and fixed line call flows
What Will You Do
Engineer (Level 2)• Monitor and maintain network nodes including Ribbon SBC & Analytics, Oracle STP/SBC (MNP & EIR), Nokia MSS & Media Gateway, Ericsson IMS/SDM/5GC, and Genband DMS/CS2K/C20• Perform alarm monitoring, first-level fault analysis, and incident ticket management• Execute routine health checks and preventive maintenance activities• Support incident resolution under guidance of senior engineers• Perform basic configuration changes and operational script execution• Maintain accurate network documentation and update records
Senior Engineer (Level 3)• Lead advanced troubleshooting across Tekelec DSR, Oracle STP/SBC, Ribbon SBC & Analytics, Nokia MSS & Media Gateway, Genband DMS/CS2K/C20/TAS, and Ericsson IMS/vIMS/VoLTE TAS/SDM/csDRA/5GC• Conduct deep protocol analysis across SIP, Diameter, and SS7 layers• Manage and resolve critical incidents (P1/P2) and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA)• Optimize network performance and contribute to capacity planning• Implement configuration changes, software upgrades, and network migrations• Support interconnect management, call routing, and subscriber service configurations• Collaborate with vendors for bug fixes, patches, and technical escalations
Key Qualifications• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field• Relevant experience based on level - 2-4 years (L2), 4-8 years (L3), 8-15+ years (Team Lead)• Knowledge of core telecom protocols - SS7, SIGTRAN, SIP, Diameter, and RTP
Skills Required
