Your Impact
Associate Engagement Coordinator will play a pivotal role in fostering an inclusive workplace environment. This role involves managing external partnerships, coordinating cross-functional programs, and cultivating a collaborative and inclusive culture within the organization.
What You Will Do
- Works closely with various business leaders to ensure the seamless execution of diversity and inclusion programs.
- Coordinates training sessions, workshops, and events aimed at promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
- Implements strategies to foster a sense of belonging and collaboration among associates.
- Encourages and supports business resource groups, ensuring they play a vital role in shaping an inclusive company culture.
- Collects and analyzes data related to diversity and inclusion efforts.
- Prepares regular reports to assess the impact of programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborates with CD&I leadership to review and enhance existing policies and processes that contribute to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Communicates diversity and inclusion initiatives effectively both internally and externally.
- Provides educational resources and training to associates to promote understanding and awareness.
- Keeps abreast of industry trends, best practices, and legal developments related to diversity and inclusion.
- Provides feedback on continuous improvement of the organization's diversity strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Human Resources, or Business-related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
- 0-1 years of experience in Human Resources or Business-related field
- 0-1 years of experience in diversity and inclusion and/or similar roles.
- Experience in building, analyzing, and/or leveraging reports and metrics to provide key insights to team members and business partners.
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience in educating others to gain buy-in and build knowledge.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat.
Preferred Skills/Education
- 1-2 years of experience in diversity and inclusion best practices, policies and legal requirements in a retail corporate environment.
