Cargill is seeking an Associate Application Developer - SAP PLM to support the design, configuration, and operation of SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. This role will support key PLM capabilities such as specifications, engineering records, document management, and integrations. The developer will work on easy to moderate solutions with guidance, collaborating closely with business users, SAP technical teams, and integration teams as part of a product team scaling SAP PLM across multiple areas of Cargill's business.
Key Accountabilities
- APPLICATION CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT: Maintains routine application configurations to meet user and business requirements while supporting development of improvements to standard and basic application support processes and procedures.
- APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT & DEPLOYMENT: Supports the execution of programming, configuration, testing and deployment of fixes or updates for application version releases.
- USER COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT: Maintains effective communication channel with users and responds to standard and routine application support requests and needs.
- APPLICATION SUPPORT: Conducts basic and less complex application support activities to deliver business outcomes.
- STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Collaborates with multi-functional teams, including developers, product managers and business partners to help ensure configurations align with project goals.
- INCIDENT & REQUEST MANAGEMENT: Analyzes assigned incident tickets and user requests.
- VENDOR MANAGEMENT: Performs supporting activities to assist with software vendors relationships and contracts.
Qualifications
- Have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience with 2 years or more of relevant experience.
- Functional experience or exposure to SAP PLM
- Experience with Specifications, Recipes, and Engineering Records
- Experience supporting Document Management (DMS) and Bill of Materials (BOM) processes
- Understanding of SAP PLM integrations with upstream and downstream systems
- Ability to analyze business requirements and support functional configurations
- Experience working with SAP technical teams, including ABAP developers
- Familiarity with PLM data concepts and lifecycle processes
- Effective collaboration across business, functional, and technical teams
