Position title: Asst. Design Engineer – Valves, KSB Tech
Major responsibilities:
Guide CAD Engineers in UG / NX
Explain Design requirement of Machining allowance, Pre Machining requirement, raw part sizing, steps to build relationship of design components, etc to CAD Engrs for commencement of drawing.
Prepare Design / drawing check list to fulfil design requirement.
Ensure the completeness and correctness of drawings / documents.
Maintain Quality Records and Schedule /Budget records for given projects.
Assist Product development Engr in design calculations & feasibility study.
Activities / replies related to RFMs (Request for Modifications) for Drawings, Non Conformity Reports (NCRs) received from manufacturing plants
Formal education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Professional experience: > 3 years
Functional Skills :
3D CAD System with Unigraphics Knowledge of MS Office essential Knowledge of AutoCAD desirable
Behavioural Skills :
Planning and Organizing Flexibility and adaptability Initiative Communication
