About the opportunity:
At Ericsson, the Development Group Artificial Intelligence (DG AI) within BCSS SA BOS Engineering PDU D&A is leading the AI transformation of Ericsson's BSS and OSS portfolio. Our focus areas include Telco IT AI Applications, the Telco IT AI Engine (TAIE), and the Telco-IT Agentic Studio (TAAS).
What will you do:• Translate business objectives into impactful AI-driven solutions that deliver measurable value.• Design and architect scalable Generative AI and Agentic AI systems using modern software engineering and cloud-native principles.• Develop and implement high-quality solutions aligned with established product development practices.• Build AI applications capable of processing large-scale data efficiently in production environments.• Collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to integrate AI capabilities into products and platforms.• Mentor and guide engineering teams on AI best practices, architecture, and development methodologies.
The Skills you bring:• GenAI expertise - Hands-on experience with Hugging Face LLMs & SLMs, OpenAI GPT, Claude, Mistral AI models, Hugging Face and Open AI Embedding models, Prompt engineering.• RAG based application development (creation, retrieval, ranking etc.) , document processing, parsing, chunking (HTML, Word, PDF, Excel etc.), semantic search, vector databases (Opensearch)• Experience of building and deploying production grade token efficient, low latency, resilient and reliable applications with Gen AI orchestration (Langchain) and Agentic framework (LangGraph/Crew.ai)• Hands-on experience with multi-agent orchestration patterns (React, Chain of thought, ReWoo,Supervisor,Plan and Solve etc), context engineering, agent memory (short and long), MCP and A2A protocol, Skills• Gen AI application Testing, deployment, monitoring and evaluation (Langfuse, deep eval, ragas, LLM as judge), Integrating Guardrails for securing Agents• Programming language - Python, Java/Scala. Experience with data processing libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn• Proficient in distributed computing platform Apache Spark (PySpark, Scala), Torch etc.
Required Qualifications:• 10+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in AI Systems Engineering, AI Architecture, or related roles.• Strong experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale AI applications.
