About this opportunity:
The position is based out of Bangalore. Candidate would be responsible for providing second-level support on incidents, problem resolutions and technical operations. The incumbent should be authoritative on hardcore networking technologies such as Routers, Switches, Firewalls, proxies, load balancers, VPNs and must have a passion for it. Candidate Must be flexible for 24x7 role.
What you will do:
- Investigate and resolve incidents.
- Investigate and diagnose problems. Where applicable, identify short-term work-around solutions.
- Act as network specialist and identify improvements in existing deployed solutions, provide input to RFCs etc.
- Support and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, load balancers, DNS, Email Security solutions
- Build user documentation, provide technical support. Redesign and reconfigure alarms for network. Maintain a stable environment and optimizes the network as vital.

- Candidate must be flexible for 24x7 role.
- 8+ Years of experience in LAN/WAN Networks and Security Operations/Development
- Education: A primary degree in Engineering, IT or Telecommunications
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Juniper MX Routers and QFX Switches
- Back Office troubleshooting, project implementation, SRF & operations experience.
- Palo Alto Firewall troubleshooting and security knowledge. The applicant will require a background in Linux systems, Networking and Firewall technologies.
- Technical experience on Juniper, Cisco, Palo Alto, Cloud, F5. Strong Technical Skills on IP/MPLS, Routing, WAN/LAN, Security, DHCP/DNS/IPAM, Aruba Switches & WLAN
- Must have strong working experience with a wide range of Cisco & Juniper routers and switches, LAN, WAN and wireless LAN technologies, network security, DHCP/DNS and routing protocols such BGP, OSPF, RIPv2 and EIGRP.
- Candidates has experience in Airwave, Mobility master & controller, Access points, Aruba ClearPass policy manager, Scalance-X Industrial Ethernet Switches.
The candidate will need to be prepared to be flexible in approach to work content and responsibilities, along with out of hours and on call support - JNCIA , CCSA qualifications are preferred

Skills Required
- 6+ years of experience in LAN/WAN networking and security operations or development
- Primary degree in Engineering, IT, or Telecommunications
