The Application Supervisor for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for supervising support, training, technical execution, sales assistance, and team development.
This position is part of the Diagnostics team located in Malaysia and will be fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Beckman Coulter Malaysia Diagnostics team and report to the Country Manager responsible for supervising support, training, technical execution, sales assistance, and team development of the Application Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Supervise and guide Application Specialists in providing comprehensive pre-sales and post-sales support for Diagnostic products to achieve the sales and profit goals in Malaysia market
- Coordinate and oversee customer training sessions conducted by Application Specialists
- Ensure accurate and effective instrument performance evaluations and troubleshooting processes are carried out.
- Provide high-level support on application issues and act as an escalation point for complex technical problems and ensure timely resolution
- Ensure technical implementation, e.g. reagent reformulation updates, software upgrades, product corrections, etc. are carried out smoothly and efficiently, with minimal disruption to customer operations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Application Specialist team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Work closely with other functional teams to ensure alignment and support for overall business objectives.
The essential requirements of the job include:
• Bachelor or above in Biomedical Science or related subject
• Previous experience in related commercial field in the same capacity in an international organization;
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic products and their applications;
• Excellent customer service skills with experience in pre-sales and post-sales support;
• Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and execute technical implementations;
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Willingness to travel within Malaysia as needed.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
- Proficiency in English and Malay. Additional language skills are a plus.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Clinical Chemistry, Immunology and Lab Automation project implementation
