The Role
The Business Intelligence Senior Manager role is instrumental in working with Consumer Marketplace Operations leadership to leverage Analytics in order to ensure a data driven culture of decision making associated with Consumer Marketplace strategic planning. This individual must show proven success using data and insights to collaborate with P/L leadership and senior functional leaders (Sales, Product, Marketing) to ensure decision-making is data driven. Key events include traffic/leads forecast development, KPI formulation for annual strategic plans and new product/business planning. The ideal candidate will have experience consulting with enterprise-class clients and using data analysis to produce actionable insights. This individual must demonstrate a continuous passion for supporting a culture of collaboration, discovery and learning.
Candidates should have knowledge of business concepts and associated data as it relates to digital marketing, consumer personalization, inventory merchandising and/or CRM/retailing solutions. This leader will create presentations that bring together performance data with customer and industry trends to tell a clear and concise story around the consumer targeting and vehicle retailing process.
This role is expected to perform these duties with minimal daily oversight.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
key responsibilities
  • Lead and facilitate activities to identify most appropriate KPI's for the Consumer Marketplace business and advise business leaders on instilling a culture of measurement and performance tracking
  • Partner closely with Senior Director of Strategic Planning for Consumer Marketplace to advise on strategic planning initiatives based upon proactive use of data available across Cox Automotive as well as industry data
  • Build deep relationships with Consumer Marketplace operations leaders including Strategic Planning leaders and product leaders such that these leaders actively engage Analytics as new initiatives are launched and the planning for those initiatives is still happening.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify and define key reporting and analysis metrics to inform the business' KPI framework.
  • Focus on a keen sense of ROI and business value quantification across all work, ensuring that the Marketplace Analytics team is constantly striving to focus on work that increases revenue, reduces revenue churn, reduces costs or otherwise delivers specific outcomes that improve the financial results of the Marketplace business.
  • In conjunction with Director Analytics Strategic Planning, lead work prioritization efforts across Marketplace Analytics ensuring VP of Marketplaces and her direct reports are always aware of the prioritized list of projects across Marketplace Analytics. Develop priorities based upon a documented prioritization methodology and ensure project start/end dates are clearly documented so there's visibility to when next project below the waterline will be tackled.
  • Explore and incorporate available and new data sources to proactively create and present to internal and external stakeholders with minimal manager support, including customized sales presentations, program recaps, tactic evaluations and solution recommendations.
  • Deliver actionable insights into compelling PowerPoint slides with a simplified and visual story.
  • Collaborates with different departments and defines requirements to improve our analytics suite.
  • Champions a healthy team culture and proactively mentor team members.

WHO YOU ARE
  • Required Experience & Specialized Knowledge and skills
  • This role is located in Atlanta GA and will need someone living within a commutable distance to the Atlanta GA office
  • Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of direct experience or 20 years equivalent experience
  • Must have a minimum of 8+ years web, marketing, and/or commerce analytic experience
  • Expertise with marketing measurement, optimization strategies including but not limited to: Media Mix Modeling, Multi-Touch attribution, ad content and creative testing.
  • Proficiency with web analytics tools such as Google Marketing Platform, Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics (Omniture), Webtrends and with first party consumer data sets.
  • High proficiency with SQL and data warehousing tools such as Snowflake to join and manage multiple data sources.
  • Proficiency with using Tableau, MicroStrategy or Power BI to create data visualizations from disparate data sources.
  • Strong ability to clearly articulate business performance metrics through data visualizations, presentations and dashboards.
  • High proficiency with Excel - including manipulating large data sets, using pivot tables, automating data pulls through 3rd party plugins.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills that can be leveraged to best communicate analytics findings.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems, think conceptually and drive results
  • Possess ability to synthesize complex or diverse information, collect and research data, use intuition and experience to complement data.
  • Has experience working and leading groups within an agile environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Manage ambiguity and adapt readily and easily to changes in priorities and business conditions
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, a strong sense of urgency, and follow-thru in addressing issues.
  • Highly accountable and performance driven

USD 122,600.00 - 204,400.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $122,600.00 - $204,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
