About the Role
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of receivables, right from setting up new client accounts in line with contractual agreements to generating and issuing invoices. This role ensures timely payment, escalates unpaid invoices when necessary, and leads the collection efforts. The AR Specialist will also organize regular review meetings with regional account management heads and issue detailed reports analyzing the receivables position, including aging and other critical metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Client Account Setup:
- Ensure proper and accurate setup of new client accounts in the system.
- Review and verify contract terms and ensure alignment with Compliance & AR processes.
- Maintain up-to-date records for each client, ensuring all contract terms are accurately reflected.
- Generate and issue monthly invoices in line with contractual obligations.
- Ensure all invoices are accurate, include all necessary details, and are sent in a timely manner.
- Handle adjustments or corrections to invoices as needed and ensure reissuance where applicable.
- Track payments against issued invoices and ensure timely follow-up on unpaid balances.
- Send reminders to clients for outstanding payments based on the AR schedule.
- Lead the collection efforts by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment delays.
- Identify and escalate overdue invoices as per company policies.
- Collaborate with account management and sales teams to resolve client disputes affecting payment.
- Organize regular receivables review meetings with regional account management heads.
- Present the current receivables status, highlight overdue accounts, and agree on action items for collections.
- Prepare and distribute detailed reports analyzing receivable positions, aging, and payment patterns.
- Provide insights on overdue accounts, potential risks, and recommendations for improving collections efficiency.
- Track key performance metrics such as days outstanding and collections forecast.
- Act as the point of contact for accounts receivable matters both internally and externally.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Proven experience in an accounts receivable or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of invoicing, billing processes, and accounts receivable management.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear manner.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in managing financial data and invoicing.
- Communication: Ability to liaise effectively with clients, account managers, and other internal teams.
