Team Overview
Transunion is looking for a Lead to combine marketing analytics and data engineering related technologies to deliver best-in-class insights to our clients.Our ideal candidate is a hands-on data expert who is passionate about data, product development, data pipeline setup and is team oriented.
Using a keen eye, an understanding of the client’s industry and business practices, and critical thinking skills, you will ensure we have the best data for client marketing insights. transformations and profiling methods, we would love to hear from you. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
- 1-2 years of experience in Data Analysis and SQL programming is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with SQL scripting and data analytics through academic projects, internships or current organisation.
- Basic to moderate level knowledge of Python, SQL, BigQuery, pySpark and Data Processing related models.
- To establish and manage data pipelines using internal data processing platforms including Data Definition Module, AIP/DN, and Google BigQuery.
- Basic to moderate knowledge on Cloud computing - GCP services like Google Cloud Storage, Big Query, DataProc is desired.
- Having knowledge on One-Tru is an added advantage.
- Moderate analytic and creative problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding and basic Hands-On of MS Excel.
- Identify and translate business rules into specifications, creating and maintaining documentation.
- Ensure quality control and follow standard guidelines.
- Adhere to best practices and standards, maintaining process efficiencies
- Collaborate with cross functional teams across Marketing Solutions business group to implement end-to-end solutions and improve processes: Modeling, Solution Architects, Consulting Services, Product and Engineering
- Client Communication - Participate in client meetings; review data with internal stakeholders using Excel, Power-point, and other data visualisation tools
- Bachelor’s degree (required) or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data science or experience in related analytical field.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
- Knowledge in digital marketing, advertising and media data is a plus.
- Ability to communicate well with colleagues and others with both technical and non-technical backgrounds
- An agile and resilient work ethic while handling multiple projects involving large cross-functional teams.
- Stay updated with the latest data analysis tools, machine leaning technique's, and industry trends

Skills Required
