Your Impact
The primary purpose of this role is to provide general pricing support for all product categories for their assigned business area. Their primary focus will be on managing day to day pricing activities that support their senior/manager pricing team and their merchant partners. This may include running pricing scenarios, generating reports, and running price updates in response to business and competitive needs, The pricing analyst will work with the rest of their team to ensure the timely implementation of all pricing recommendations.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for delivering recommendations that support their teams Pricing related sales and margin objectives through the use of legacy and new pricing tools in alignment with the Pricing Program
- Responsible for maintaining relationships, communicating effectively, and building cross functional partnerships within P&P
- Responsible for supporting their respective team as they implement Lowe's pricing strategies. Develop a baseline understanding of Lowes pricing strategy frameworks and gain basic proficiency in the IBM pricing solution(s) and legacy pricing applications.
- Responsible for ensuring that they utilize all available tools, data, and insights to deliver the best possible of service and results to their respective partners
- Pricing analysts are responsible for conducting themselves in a manor that reflects positively on the Pricing organization with a focus on Core Behaviors and personal accountability.
- Responsible for ensuring that they meet all key deliverables and timelines for their projects and tasks
- Responsible for sharing best practices across their team. Identifies largest areas of repetitive manual work and raises to management team to look for automation opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Business, Finance or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
- 5 years relevant experience (pricing, merchandising, finance, or related field focused on retail analytics
- 2 years Corporate retail pricing, promotions or competitive intelligence analytics or strategy experience
- 1 year experience in Home Improvement Retail or Experience working in an omnichannel environment
Preferred Skills/Education
- 2 years experience using standard analytics tools (MS Excel, Access) to develop data driven recommendations to identify opportunities to improve business performance
- 1 year experience in Home Improvement Retail or Experience working in an omnichannel environment
- 1 year experience developing processes and procedures to support business objectives
- 1 year experience in retail pricing
