What You'll Do
- Lead implementation of prioritized AI initiatives aligned with Cox Automotive's sales strategy.
- Maintain frameworks to assess the value, effectiveness, and business impact of AI solutions for sales. Establish KPIs and evaluation metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
- Identify, scope, and oversee pilot strategies to test and validate AI-driven sales initiatives. Capture learnings to inform broader adoption and scale successful pilots.
- Partner with boundary partners across SBO, Technology, and Marketing to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for AI solutions (i.e., Salesforce, Claude, Copilot M365, etc.).
- Analyze data to assess AI initiative performance, diagnose gaps, and identify opportunities for optimization. Present actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Engage with external vendors and technology partners to stay informed of AI product roadmaps, features, and capabilities. Influence product development and adoption strategies to fit CAI's needs.
- Influence/assist with AI business cases and cost-benefit analysis
- Develop executive presentations advocating for upcoming AI enhancements, product roadmaps, and new features, ensuring clear communication of value and strategic alignment.
- Acts as an AI Subject Matter Expert (SME) and advocate by supporting new AI launches, providing guidance, and hands-on assistance to the sales organization. Serves as a key resource for educating teams on AI capabilities, best practices, and troubleshooting, ensuring smooth adoption and optimal utilization of innovative AI solutions.
- Act as a liaison between the sales organization and technology teams by clearly articulating AI use cases, business value, and requirements. Ensure that technology solutions and designs are closely aligned with business needs, facilitating effective communication and mutual understanding throughout the project lifecycle

Who You Are
Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline and 6 years' experience in sales/business operations role or equivalent. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field.
- 3+ years leading enterprise-level projects and/or strategy in a highly complex sales/sales operations environment
- Demonstrate a foundational understanding of AI to effectively communicate concepts, trends, and the impacts of technological advancements within the organization
- Deep hands-on knowledge of enterprise AI tools, including Copilot M365, Claude, Agentforce, etc.
- Experience working directly with sales leadership to understand business priorities and needs
- Proven ability to drive adoption and change management for new tools/processes
- Experience translating technical capabilities into business value for executives
- Excellent presentation skills: strong skills in effective communication with all levels of leadership
- Ability to create executive-level documentation via MS suite
- Proven skill in change management and problem-solving
- Experience collaborating with technology vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Experience evaluating and selecting enterprise software vendors and knowledge of vendor negotiation strategies
- Travel: 5%

USD 101,500.00 - 169,100.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $101,500.00 - $169,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
