Team Overview
Solutions Consultants serve as a subject-matter experts, proactively working with our key clients and supporting our Sales team to drive business opportunities for products and analytics services. Our Consultants leverage their previous experiences along with TransUnion's best practices to help solve our customers' problems, delivering fulsome recommendations and compelling presentations. Additionally, Consultants provide senior leadership with valuable industry/market and customer driven insight to inform TransUnion’s long-term growth strategy. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
Trusted Advisor for our partners/clients with primary goal to help reduce credit losses and drive profitable growth with tailored strategies that help approve more customers and drive engagement on existing customer base
Act as a Credit Risk subject-matter expert and promote the use of innovative TransUnion solutions across verticals for example Financial Services, Telco, Collections and FinTech
Proactively work with our key clients, support our Sales team and provide senior management with valuable industry/market VoC on products/solutions to ensure business growth
Accountable for ensuring TransUnion’s Core Credit revenue targets are monitored and met/exceeded
Demonstrates to internal and external customers how TransUnion's products and analytics can be applied and implemented to optimize business strategies. This includes creating and delivering pitch decks and case studies during client meetings and/or TransUnion sponsored events
Leads in proposal development by transforming client or prospective client requirements into consultative solutions that demonstrate value added services
When necessary, will engage resources across other TransUnion business units and functional areas in support of new product assessment and development efforts for specific vertical lines of business and/or industry segments – some of the functional areas may include legal, compliance, finance and IT
Understands industry trends and the business at the level needed to proactively identify areas of business opportunities and analytical needs of customers.
Travel (primarily within GTA) is a requirement for client meetings; team operates in a flexible work environment (remote as well as in-person)
Required Knowledge And Experiences
Bachelor’s degree in sciences, mathematics, statistics, or related field such as business, finance, economics, or equivalent
7+ years of experience in Financial Services with Credit Risk related accountabilities from Adjudication to Account Management including collections across credit product(s)
Must have a business understanding of respective product(s) P&L e.g. profitability and loss provisions
Understanding of credit bureau(s) data is preferred
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in managing formulas and pivot tables
Proficient in building PowerPoint presentations with clear messaging
Quick thinker, unconventional problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication skills (oral & written) with ability to communicate complex concepts and solutions successfully to all levels of management and technical expertise
Must have proven ability to interact and mediate with all levels of organization, from most junior to most senior, from all aspects of business including technical and operational
