This role ensures that regional needs are addressed and client demands are met through technically sound, scalable, and timely solutions.
The Technical Consultant will act as a Sales Engineer, providing both technical expertise and solution design during pre-sales and early implementation phases. This position bridges the gap between client-facing teams and internal technology teams, helping to accelerate post-sales implementation and reduce time to revenue.
This is a dynamic, multi-faceted role that requires working across several teams and geographies. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in technology, product development, agile methodologies, and industry expertise in financial services or a related discipline.
What You'll Bring:
Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a strong technical environment.
• 5+ years of experience in technical consulting, solution engineering, or pre-sales roles.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment; Scrum certification is a plus.
• Strong understanding of APIs, system integration, and fraud/identity verification solutions.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working with virtual teams and flexible schedules to accommodate international collaboration.
• Background in fraud prevention, identity systems, or financial services.
• Familiarity with regional compliance and onboarding requirements in Latin America.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional workflows and technical specifications.
• Experience delivering client-facing demos and technical presentations.
• Passion for supporting clients across various verticals such as Financial Services, Telco, Healthcare, and Government.

Impact You'll Make:
Client Engagement & Solution Design• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on DO products and components.
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to provide technical input during client engagements.
• Design and document integration solutions tailored to client requirements and regional capabilities.
• Lead and participate in design sessions to ensure alignment between client expectations and product functionality.
• Provide solution and technical demos to internal teams and prospective customers.
• Coordinate with Business Analysts to streamline documentation for complex projects.
• Act as a pseudo-client for internal teams, providing clarifications and ensuring continuity from design to delivery.
• Support the implementation team by handing off approved designs and assisting during onboarding.
• Perform detailed validation of final product configurations and limitations.
• Liaise with internal tech teams, client business/tech teams, and vendors to resolve complex issues.
• Assist in investigating production issues and provide functional insights when needed.
• Support reporting and analytics during the implementation phase.
• Review documentation to ensure it reflects actual implementations and best practices.
• Understand the DecisionEdge global platform and how regional solutions integrate into it.
• Support the localization of global components and successful regional launches.
• Provide technical support in customer engagements, solution presentations, and technical translations of customer requirements.
