Their main responsibility is to ensure that the assigned initiatives or projects are delivered on the agreed dates and that what is developed meets the specifications of the requirement.
This resource will be assigned to different projects/assignments in TransUnion and will report to Manager II or the project manager or upon.
What You'll Bring:
- Degree in Engineering / Software Engineering or related fields.
- 4+ years of experience leading development teams or initiatives using Agile.
- Proven experience in application management (end-to-end SDLC) in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
- Strong technical skills in:
- Java (J2EE)
- PL/SQL / SQL Databases
- Shell scripting
- GitHub
- JIRA
- PostgreSQL
- Jenkins (nice to have)
- Solid knowledge of secure coding and best practices for production-grade development.

Impact You'll Make:
- Provide technical leadership to the development team and ensure execution under Agile methodologies.
- Design, develop, and enhance backend applications primarily in Java (J2EE).
- Manage the full software development lifecycle: analysis, design, build, integration, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure integration with databases and existing components (PL/SQL, SQL, PostgreSQL).
- Enforce secure coding standards and ensure maintainability, quality, and production reliability.
- Identify technical risks and propose improvements to delivery processes and automation (CI/CD where applicable).
