About this opportunity:
Product Development Unit Cloud&Common&Solutions (PDU CLCS) is a development organization within the Business Area Cloud Software & Services (BCSS). PDU CLCS is a corner stone of the Ericsson platforms and components strategy and develops components, products and microservices used by applications across Ericsson as part of the Application Development Platform (ADP). The Application Development Platform (ADP) Framework is the approved way forward for developing cloud native applications within Ericsson, following a modern design pattern (microservice architecture based on containers).
We are now looking for an ADP Microservice Developer to take part in developing, maintaining and delivering high quality software in ADP. You will be part of a team fast-tracking the most important feature/requirement development in the ADP Program. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in multi-functional development teamsin which continuous improvement and innovation is part of the daily work.
What you will do:
- Design, implement, and maintain Document Database PG with high quality
- Participate in the integration of CloudeNativePG operator by replacing the currently used operator
- Contribute to the opensource project of CloudNative PG
- Participate in architecture/design discussions, code reviews, and operational readiness
- Drive continuous improvements across codebase, tooling, product security, and ways of working
- Contribute to test automation
The skills you bring:
- Strong hands-on experience designing, implementing, testing, and debugging Go services
- Daily working knowledge deploying and operating workloads (pods, services, deployments), Helm and basic troubleshooting (logs, events)
- 2+ years software development experience in product environments
- Solid engineering practices: unit/integration testing, code reviews, CI/CD
- Linux proficiency; Git
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams; strong communication and collaboration
- Familiarity with scripting languages, e.g. bash
- Strong sense of ownership; delivers high quality, maintainable code
Nice to have:
- Experience with AI native development
- Experience with contributing to opensource projects
- Experience with Robot test framework
