The BSN SPORTS Indianapolis Production/Warehouse team is looking for a team oriented, high-energy Administrative Assistant in Indianapolis, IN.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
As a member of the Production/Warehouse team, the Administrative Assistant is a critical role and is responsible promoting a team environment by supporting the team and executing reporting, scheduling, onboarding new team members and other administrative tasks.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Provide a safe, healthy, and welcoming working environment in a Lean culture for all team members
Partnering with Operations leaders and Recruiting/HR team for scheduling interviews
Assists in onboarding new team members
Assists with visitors entering and exiting the building.
Completes weekly and monthly reporting on staffing and compiles data for bonus program
Creates badges and maintains badge database
Tracks and audits various information to ensure compliance
Monitors and orders supplies for the facility
Manages vendor relationships (janitorial, vending, security, etc)
Assists in planning and executing onsite team events
Resolves conflicts in a timely and professional manner
Assist in documenting conversations as needed.
Assists with invoice routing and coding
QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITES
Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills
Solution oriented minded
Collaborates with peers for team and Operational success
Computer literate with knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge in SAP a plus
Able to perform with minimal direction
Flexibility to work varying shifts and in varying departments in support of the operation
Able to handle confidential data
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
HS Diploma or GED
2-5 years’ experience as an Administrative assistant.
Bilingual (English along with Spanish, Burmese, Haitian Creole or French) is a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member may be required to stand for long periods of time. Repetitive movement of the body may be on an intermittent basis. The position requires lifting of no less than 15-35 lbs. on a regular basis. Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
