The Auto Analytics State Deep Dive team is the analytical partner to state leadership in Liberty Mutual's largest and most complex Personal Auto markets. In this role you will work directly with the Directors of State Operations (DSOs) on the questions that shape each state's direction.
You will analyze segment-level performance to identify targeted pricing and underwriting changes, and partner with Tactical Pricing and Underwriting teams to implement them. You will build the growth and profitability projections behind state planning and key strategic decisions, such as rating program launches, distribution strategy and responses to competitive moves. You will also monitor marketplace, operational and claims trends to catch emerging opportunities and risks early, and turn those insights into tactical actions with partners across Risk Analytics and the business.
You will join a team of three actuaries and report to the Auto Analytics State Deep Dive Team Manager. Your work will directly shape state strategy and support Liberty's goal of top-quartile profitability.
**Applicants that live within 50 miles of the following Liberty Mutual offices will have a 2 day/week hybrid requirement: Boston, MA; Portsmouth, NH; Columbus, OH; Seattle, WA; and Plano, TX.**
