This role supports the capital reporting and analytical functions under the Hong Kong Risk-Based Capital (HKRBC) framework. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining the HKRBC Lite Model, monitoring solvency, performing GWS sensitivity analyses, and conducting stress scenario testing to support regulatory and management requirements.Job Descriptions:
- Support the production of capital reporting deliverables to facilitate decision-making, including: Solvency monitoring, GWS sensitivity analysis, Stress scenario testing, Breakpoint analysis
- Support the development, maintenance, and documentation of the HKRBC solvency monitoring tool and matching adjustment estimator to ensure predictive capability. Optimize the Lite Model for calibration of shock scenarios, business plan projections, and sensitivity testing.
Job Requirements:
- University degree holder majoring in a numerical subject (e.g. Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Physics etc.).
- Passes in multiple actuarial examinations offered by the Society of Actuaries, Institute and Faculty of
- Actuaries, or other equivalent actuarial bodies.
- A minimum of 1 years relevant working experience is required, fresh graduate is also welcomed.
- Proficiency in actuarial software is an advantage
- Knowledge of Prophet and stochastic modelling is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently and handle workload accordingly
- Good interpersonal, communication, planning & leadership skills
- Open, proactive and willing to challenge when necessary
- Fluency in English and Cantonese is an advantage
