What You'll Do
As our Accounts Payable Supervisor, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable department while ensuring invoices, vendor payments, expense reimbursements, and financial transactions are processed accurately and on time.
You'll also:
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Accounts Payable team
- Ensure timely processing of invoices, ACH payments, wire transfers, and check runs
- Build strong relationships with vendors and internal business partners
- Oversee month-end AP close activities, reconciliations, and reporting
- Maintain strong internal controls and support audit activities
- Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and continuous improvement
- Partner with Operations, Procurement, Payroll, Project Managers, and Finance leadership to support business objectives

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience
- 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
- Experience using ERP/accounting software
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes, reconciliations, and financial controls
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Construction, industrial services, environmental services, or field service industries
- High-volume Accounts Payable operations
- AP automation or ERP implementations
- 1099 reporting
- Lean or continuous improvement initiatives
- Private equity-backed organizations
