Role Overview:
Could you be our next Accounts Payable Costing Specialist? Globe Life is looking for an Accounts Payable Costing Specialist to join the team!
This role is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and financial support for Globe Marketing Services (GMS). Responsibilities include processing invoices and managing accounts payable, creating costing reports and monthly financial statements for management, and generating monthly invoices for postage, printing, lettershop services, and overhead reimbursements. This position also prepares mailing reports and instructions for direct-to-consumer campaigns and maintains the fulfillment database for each mailing cycle.
This is an on-site position located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
What You Will Do:
- Manage postage operations for all Globe Life Inc. companies, including daily/weekly postage requests for meter and permit mailings.
- Process and code invoices to proper expense accounts, ensuring timely payment in accordance with Globe Life's SOX requirements.
- Create and distribute monthly invoices for postage, presort services, direct-to-consumer campaigns, and AIL PR Leads services.
- Develop comprehensive monthly financial and volume reports for upper management, including profit/loss analysis by department.
- Create costing reports on direct-to-consumer campaigns to identify successful packages for future mailings.
- Maintain the fulfillment database and create detailed mailing reports and instructions for campaigns.
- Reconcile expense accounts and create monthly supplement reports for AIL leads programs.
- Provide administrative support including ordering office supplies, greeting visitors when needed, and performing other duties as assigned by management.
What You Can Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience with strong accounting software background.
- 3+ years of executive management reporting experience.
- 3+ years of mainframe/database experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills.
- Strong oral, written, and computer communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
