Role Overview:

Could you be our next Premium Accounting Clerk I? Globe Life is looking for a Premium Accounting Clerk I to join the team!

This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate application of premium for all Globe Life policies. The clerk will be expected to make appropriate determinations based on information provided and policies established by the Premium Accounting Department.

This is an on-site position located in Oklahoma City, OK.

What You Will Do:

  • Payment research and application.
  • Daily balancing of transactions processed.
  • Processing refund payments.
  • Accounting entries as required.
  • Assist with the responsibilities of the Associate Accounting Clerk as needed.

What You Can Bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Some college preferred.
  • Related work experience preferred.
  • Previous remittance processing, banking or insurance experience is a plus.
  • Ability to operate a 10-key calculator at an intermediate level.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office; including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Basic accounting knowledge; including familiarity with general ledger entries.
  • Ability to be detail-oriented.
  • Ability to do research in multiple systems.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed.
  • Can stand and sit for long periods of time.
