As an Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering the insights and financial integrity that keep our business moving forward. Your work will influence reporting, strengthen controls and ensure leaders across the business can make informed decisions with confidence.
What you’ll own
- Drive accurate and timely month end, quarter end and year end close activities, ensuring financial results reflect the performance of multiple business entities.
- Own balance sheet and sub ledger reconciliations, identifying discrepancies, resolving issues and strengthening confidence in financial reporting.
- Lead the integrity of global intercompany accounting, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and eliminations are completed effectively.
- Deliver meaningful financial analysis and expense insights that enable informed decision making and improve business performance.
- Build strong partnerships across teams to resolve accounting issues, improve processes and create greater financial transparency.
- Influence continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance accounting processes, strengthen controls and increase operational efficiency.
- Contribute to successful audit outcomes by maintaining clear documentation, reliable audit trails and high quality financial support.
- Achieve and exceed performance goals through accuracy, accountability and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
What you bring
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, with up to two years of experience in accounting, finance or a related environment.
- Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and their application within a business environment.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate solutions and drive timely resolution.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate confidently with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Experience managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, organization and attention to detail.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs and data analysis techniques that drive informed decision making.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, learning and delivering high quality results.
It’s a bonus if you have
- Experience within the payments, credit card processing or financial services industry.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX or other enterprise accounting systems.
