- Prepare all month end reconciliations journal entries with complete back up in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare and support the financial statements, reconciliations and reports.
- Complete product line income statements and variance analysis.
- Prepare, analyze and assist with accurate processing of monthly accounts payable and accounts receivable aging.
- Provide a complete payroll backup in the absence of the Payroll Clerk.
- Assist with the development of standard cost base for all purchased and manufactured components on an annual basis.
- Ensure that all charges to the fixed assets accounts are categorized complying with company policy.
- On a monthly basis, reconcile fixed assets sub ledger to the general ledger to the general ledger.
- Maintain a computerized listing of all fixed assets.
- Prepare financial summaries such as balance sheets and income statements.
- A University degree or college diploma in Accounting, Business or a related discipline is required.
- 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing setting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
