Overview:

Mitel is hiring a Senior Accounting Analyst and we are looking for a candidate who is a motivated, extremely organized individual who uses their ability to look at information through different perspectives. This is a great regional accounting opportunity.

This position is located in São Paulo, Brazil (hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and/or maintains one or more accounting systems, Journal entries, General Ledger, Account Receivable, Accounts payable, Revenue Reconciliation, etc.

• Reviews and interpret financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulations.

• Balances books and prepared profile and loss, cash flow, income, and balance sheet statements.

• Monitors and develops monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects.

• Provides record of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.

• May prepare federal, state, and local reports and tax returns.

• May assist in the setup of processes and procedures that properly capture, track, and report revenue, including deferred revenue, in accordance with the company revenue recognition policy.

• May generate revenue ports for internal and/or external use.

• May interpret reports and records for managers/stakeholders.

• May be involved in reviewing, tracking, and maintaining billing information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and other accounting regulations.

• Own all aspects of the accounting cycle for a comprehensive set of balance sheet accounts including the preparation of monthly journal entries and preparation of account reconciliations.

• Financial reporting and preparation of Management reporting packages

• Be the key point of contact within the corporate general accounting group for a global general accounting group.

• Works closely with off-site accountants and business primes to investigate their requirements and be a conduit for the flow of information with Corporate.

• Be one of touch points Audit and compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with preference being given to those candidates with a professional accounting designation.

• Minimum of 2 years related experience or an advanced degree without experience.

• Knowledge of SAP (mandatory), Blackline and/or Business Intelligence is required

• Special consideration to an applicant with SAP master data experience

• Excel proficiency

• Understanding and Application of Regulatory Knowledge.

• Fundamental Business Understanding.

• Experienced in SAP NPR Implementation is a plus

Responsabilidades:

• Desenvolve, implementa e/ou mantém um ou mais sistemas contábeis, lançamentos contábeis, Razão Geral, Contas a Receber, Contas a Pagar, Conciliação de Receitas, etc. Revê e interpreta requisitos, normas e regulamentos de relatórios financeiros.

• Efetuar o balancete contábil e prepara demonstrações de perfil e prejuízo, fluxo de caixa, resultado e balanço patrimonial.

• Monitorar e desenvolve relatórios mensais de receitas e despesas para projetos. Registrar ativos, passivos e outras transações financeiras.

• Preparar relatórios e declarações de impostos federais, estaduais e municipais.

• Auxiliar na configuração de processos e procedimentos que capturem, acompanhem e reportem adequadamente a receita, incluindo a receita diferida, de acordo com a política de reconhecimento de receita da empresa.

• Pode estar envolvido na revisão, acompanhamento e manutenção de informações de faturamento nos sistemas financeiros, garantindo a precisão e a conformidade com os US GAAP e outras normas contábeis.

• Dominar todos os aspectos do ciclo contábil para um conjunto abrangente de contas patrimoniais, incluindo a preparação de lançamentos contábeis mensais e a preparação de conciliações contábeis.

• Ser o principal ponto de contato dentro do grupo de contabilidade geral corporativa para um grupo de contabilidade geral global.

• Ser um dos pontos de contato em Auditoria e Compliance.

Requisitos:

• Bacharelado, com preferência para candidatos com designação profissional em contabilidade.

• Mínimo de 2 anos de experiência na área ou diploma avançado sem experiência. Conhecimento de SAP (obrigatório), Blackline e/ou Business Intelligence é necessário.

• Consideração especial para candidatos com experiência em dados mestres SAP. Proficiência em Excel.

• Inglês avançado.
