About the Role

Salesforce Professional Services is seeking a driven and mission-oriented Account Partner to join our Nonprofit & NGO practice. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to our nonprofit and NGO customers, leading the sale of Professional Services engagements that help mission-driven organizations maximize their investment in the Salesforce platform. You will partner closely with core sales teams, delivery leaders, and customers to craft and close transformative services deals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and grow a portfolio of Professional Services opportunities across a defined set of NGO and nonprofit accounts
  • Develop and execute account-level services strategies aligned to customer transformation goals and Salesforce product adoption
  • Lead discovery and scoping conversations to understand customers' business challenges, technical landscape, and success criteria
  • Create and present compelling services proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and delivery roadmaps tailored to NGO mission objectives
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders at customer organizations, including CxOs, IT leaders, and program directors
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Account Executives, Solution Engineers, and Customer Success teams to drive pipeline and close services deals
  • Partner with Delivery Managers and Practice Leaders to ensure successful engagement handoffs and customer satisfaction
  • Accurately forecast services bookings and maintain pipeline hygiene in Salesforce CRM
  • Stay current on Salesforce product innovations, including Nonprofit Cloud, Program Management Module (PMM), and Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP)
  • Serve as a subject matter advocate for the NGO segment, contributing to internal knowledge sharing, best practices, and go-to-market initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in professional services sales, consulting, or account management
  • Demonstrated experience working with nonprofit or NGO organizations, including a strong understanding of the sector's funding models, mission priorities, operational challenges, and constituent engagement strategies
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding services revenue targets in a quota-carrying role
  • Experience structuring and selling complex, multi-phase professional services engagements
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate value and influence decisions at the C-suite level
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a highly matrixed, fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel 25-50%
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud, NPSP, or Program Management Module (PMM)
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Nonprofit Cloud Consultant)
  • Familiarity with grant management, fundraising platforms, or case management systems common in the NGO space
  • Prior experience at a system integrator, consulting firm, or enterprise software company serving the nonprofit sector
  • Understanding of government-funded NGO compliance requirements (e.g., USAID, UN, global health organizations)

In California and New York, and select cities in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the base pay range for this role in those locations is $171,080 - $228,800 per year.
