Job DescriptionRole Overview
Coface is seeking a Coface Global Solutions (CGS) Account Manager to manage and grow key client relationships within the CGS portfolio. This role is responsible for driving client retention, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction while ensuring profitability and alignment with Coface’s risk and underwriting standards.
Key Objectives (Mission)
- Manage and develop relationships with key clients and their intermediaries
- Maximize revenue and retention of profitable clients within the CGS portfolio, considering loss ratio and RWE
- Enhance customer experience by promoting Coface products and increasing cross-selling and upselling opportunities
Main Responsibilities
1. CGS Marketing Action Plan Implementation
- Contribute to the design and execution of the CGS Marketing Action Plan
- Support targeted initiatives to grow and saturate the CGS portfolio
- Build and maintain market intelligence within the CGS segment
- Ensure accurate reporting and updates in relevant tools
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain proactive and regular communication with clients and intermediaries
- Develop strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and regular follow-ups
- Respond promptly to client queries and provide high-quality service
- Advise clients on optimal coverage solutions
- Prepare proposals, bids, and price quotations
3. Portfolio Management
- Act as the central point of contact for assigned clients and intermediaries
- Deliver renewal revenue and drive portfolio growth and profitability
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (underwriting, risk, commercial teams) for proposals and renewals
- Maximise client satisfaction and ensure high renewal rates
- Promote cross-selling and added-value services across all product lines
- Monitor sales performance against targets
- Expand existing programs to uninsured entities within client groups
- Support regional teams in program expansion and saturation
4. Market Knowledge
- Maintain strong knowledge of market trends, economic conditions, and competitors
- Ensure full understanding of Coface products and services
- Promote CGS programs through regular client engagement
- Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns, events, and client surveys
5. Communication & Coordination
- Provide regular feedback to management on client needs, market trends, and opportunities
- Coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery
- Represent Coface at external events to build business relationships and brand presence
6. Underwriting Collaboration
- Ensure sound commercial underwriting practices in line with Coface standards
- Work closely with underwriters to adjust policy terms as needed
- Balance commercial objectives with risk considerations
7. Risk Management & Compliance
- Share ownership of portfolio loss ratio with the Risk team
- Ensure profitable portfolio performance
- Adhere to Coface policies and regulatory compliance standards
Experience
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Account Management within the Insurance industry
- Strong experience in Credit Insurance is preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
- Commercial expertise with a focus on profitability and client retention
- Ability to manage complex international client programs
- Solid understanding of the current economic environment and its impact on the market
Technical Knowledge
- Contract management expertise, including renewals and full contract lifecycle
