Role Summary and Impact

This critical role exists within Global Client Solutions to lead global hub operations and campaign orchestration for Skechers, one of the world’s leading lifestyle and performance footwear brands.

As Account Manager, you will serve as the global central point of contact, ensuring overall campaign excellence, multi-market consistency, and seamless execution across international regions. You will bridge brand strategy and tactical delivery across markets, driving the sharing of best practice and acting as the primary hub for day-to-day troubleshooting and market enablement.

Crucially, you will collaborate closely with our Commerce team to ensure Skechers' brand media and performance/e-commerce strategies are tightly aligned across all regions.

Reporting into the Business Director and supported directly by an Account Executive, this role combines strategic central oversight, cross-market governance, and team leadership to drive Good Growth for Skechers globally.

Key Responsibilities

Global Multi-Market Governance & Excellence

  • Serve as the central hub and day-to-day point of contact for Skechers regional and market teams, answering queries and resolving operational bottlenecks.
  • Drive global media consistency across all markets, ensuring campaign toolkits, brand guidelines, and strategic priorities are clearly communicated and adopted locally.
  • Lead central reporting frameworks, benchmarking, and cross-market post-campaign reviews to evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Establish processes to capture, package, and share best practices, market innovations, and key learnings across all participating Skechers markets.

Media & Commerce Integration

  • Work in close partnership with Mindshare’s dedicated Commerce team to ensure brand campaigns and performance/retail media initiatives operate in complete alignment.
  • Facilitate integrated working practices between brand media planning and e-commerce/DTC/marketplace activations to maximize full-funnel consumer journeys for Skechers.
  • Ensure market teams are aligned on global commerce objectives, product priority pushes, and key seasonal retail moments.

Strategic & Operational Enablement

  • Support the Business Director by owning day-to-day campaign orchestration, freeing up senior leadership for high-level commercial and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Translate global campaign strategies into clear, actionable briefs and operational guidance for regional teams and channel specialists.
  • Manage timelines, centralization of assets, and workflow tools to streamline multi-market coordination.

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Direct line management of an Account Executive, supporting their development, setting objectives, delegating tasks, and overseeing their day-to-day output.
  • Guide specialist channel and local market teams to ensure high-quality delivery aligned with global governance standards.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive environment between global hub functions, specialist teams, and local agency leads.

Process & Financial Management

  • Manage central project budgets, hub resource planning, and multi-market central billings accurately.
  • Identify continuous process improvements to improve agility, communication, and efficiency across international market teams.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate brings proven experience managing multi-market consumer or retail brand accounts within a global media agency. You possess strong organizational acumen, exceptional multi-stakeholder management skills, and a solid understanding of how brand awareness drives e-commerce and retail performance.

Essential Criteria

  1. Multi-Market Campaign Management: Proven track record in orchestrating global or regional multi-market campaigns, ensuring brand consistency across diverse media landscapes.
  2. Commerce & Performance Awareness: Strong understanding of consumer media channels and how brand media connects with Commerce/E-commerce performance drivers.
  3. Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Experience acting as a central account lead capable of managing live requests, market variance, and day-to-day problem-solving under fast-paced retail conditions.
  4. Best Practice & Process Orchestration: Ability to package complex campaign insights and best practices into actionable toolkits and playbooks for regional teams.
  5. Team Management & Development: Direct experience (or clear readiness for) managing and developing junior team members (Account Executive level).
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to navigate matrixed teams, connecting local planners, central specialists, commerce teams, and client teams seamlessly.
