Your Impact
As a Solutions Engineer, you will act as the primary technical bridge between ThousandEyes and our enterprise customers. You will be instrumental in demonstrating how AI-driven insights can transform network operations and business outcomes. In this role, you will:
- Drive Technical Sales: Partner with sales teams to uncover opportunities, architect tailored solutions, and lead compelling demonstrations that showcase the value of the ThousandEyes platform.
- Serve as a Trusted Advisor: Guide prospects through successful trials, helping them navigate complex technical landscapes and ensuring they realize the full potential of the solution.
- Collaborate for Innovation: Work closely with Product Management and Engineering, providing critical field feedback to shape the future of our AI and automation roadmaps.
- Engage Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with Marketing to amplify our message at industry events and partner with Customer Success to ensure seamless post-sales transitions and long-term value realization.
- Contribute to Collective Intelligence: Share technical wins, develop demonstration assets, and stay at the forefront of industry trends in AI and network observability to help the team grow.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering or equivalent technical role.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, impactful business value.
- Deep expertise in networking and application protocols (e.g., HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, BGP).
- Solid experience with network performance analysis and packet-level troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) to automate workflows.
- Hands-on experience with AI and automation tooling (e.g., Ansible, Cursor, Claude).
- Strong foundational knowledge of modern operating systems (Linux, macOS, Windows) and unified communications.
