Leads year-round, seasonal, and summer education programs across Amesbury and Georgetown. Oversees enrollment, staffing, safety, quality, compliance, licensing, budgeting-related program needs, and continuous improvement. Recruits, supervises, coaches, and develops childcare staff; maintains EEC requirements; builds relationships with families, schools, licensing agencies, and community partners; supports YMCA strategic planning, fundraising, marketing, and program growth.

Lead youth sports classes, leagues, camps and school-age enrichment programs. Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities, travel between sites, support program operations, train staff, ensure safety and supervise participants while building relationships with children, families, and community partners.

Leads YMCA membership and community engagement programs, including frontline staff management, member recruitment, retention, events, partnerships, and customer service. Manages membership data, tracks performance metrics, generates reports, and uses insights to improve growth strategies. Represents the YMCA within the community, builds stakeholder relationships, and supports its mission and values.

Provide part-time administrative and operational support to the Executive Director and branch leadership: process payroll-related tasks, manage purchasing and inventory, coordinate facility rentals, prepare meeting materials and minutes, support onboarding, maintain calendars and records, and collaborate with staff to ensure smooth YMCA operations and member service.

Lead and support aquatics programs including swim lessons, lifeguarding, classes, and special events. Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor aquatics staff, ensure certifications and pool safety, engage members and community partners, and maintain a safe, welcoming aquatic environment.

Provide operational, data, communications, and event support for charitable giving. Maintain donor records, manage lists and validation, create marketing collateral, build event pages, coordinate sponsor recognition, and support fundraising campaign logistics alongside internal teams.

Provide lifeguard coverage and teach private and group swim lessons using YMCA curriculum for all ages, maintain safe aquatic environments, support waterfront and pool programming, and complete required certifications.

Greet families, confirm absences, check children into the afterschool program, verify guardian identities at pick-up, maintain attendance records, and communicate with Site Coordinators and families about each child's day.

Lead a safe, inclusive early learning classroom by designing age-appropriate lessons, building relationships with children and families, supporting diverse learning styles, completing required trainings and certifications, and maintaining CPR/First Aid and EEC-required documentation.

Provide individualized behavioral and inclusion support for school-age children in after-school and summer camp programs. Collaborate with staff, families, schools, and providers to develop behavior plans, coach staff, review trends, assist with trainings, and connect families to community resources to ensure safe, inclusive, and engaging program experiences.

Provide flexible substitute teaching coverage at licensed YMCA early learning centers across multiple North Shore locations. Step into different classrooms and age groups, maintain continuity of care, support child development, communicate with staff and families, and travel between assigned sites. Unpaid semester internship assisting the Sports & Recreation Director with youth sports leagues, coaching fundamentals, program coordination, member and parent engagement, marketing, facility maintenance, scheduling, and a final program improvement project. Gain hands-on leadership and administrative experience in sports programming.

Lead daily operations of before- and after-school programs for elementary children, supervise and coach staff, ensure EEC licensing compliance and safety, coordinate with families and schools, manage schedules and materials, and support year-round camp leadership.

Officiate youth and adult YMCA sports games, enforce rules, promote sportsmanship and safety, resolve conflicts calmly, communicate professionally, and support positive experiences for participants and families.

Lead and manage after-school programming for elementary-aged children across two sites. Oversee daily operations, mentor and supervise staff, plan engaging activities, ensure state childcare licensing compliance, handle administrative tasks, and build relationships with families and school partners to create a safe, enriching environment.

Provide substitute childcare support across YMCA Early Learning Centers in Haverhill, Amesbury, and Plaistow. Deliver safe, nurturing care for various age groups, adapt quickly to new classroom environments, travel between sites as needed, and follow program guidance. Participate in paid training and certifications and support children’s development while maintaining a flexible schedule.

Lead operational implementation of the Mental Wellness department, oversee Inclusion Services and Family & Community Engagement, develop systems and procedures, supervise and coach staff, manage projects, ensure compliance (HIPAA, grants), support budgets and partnerships, and expand community mental wellness access.

Provide leadership and operational oversight for three licensed before- and after-school sites; supervise and mentor Site Coordinators and staff; ensure Massachusetts EEC licensing compliance; create age-appropriate activities; manage staffing, scheduling, documentation, and program quality; build relationships with children, families, school partners; lead during summer Day Camp programs.

Lead age-appropriate gymnastics classes from preschool to advanced levels, implement curriculum to build skills and confidence, maintain a safe supportive environment, connect with participants and families to drive retention, and assist with open gym, vacation programs, and special events.
