Teams at YMCA of the North Shore Inc.

Oversee three licensed YMCA before- and after-school program sites, supervise and mentor coordinators and staff, ensure Massachusetts EEC licensing compliance, support scheduling and operations, maintain documentation, and build relationships with children, families, schools, and community partners. During summer, provide leadership for YMCA day camp programs while promoting safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate experiences.

Coordinates group exercise programs, instructor schedules, class coverage, wellness initiatives, events, and member engagement. Supports instructor hiring, onboarding, training, payroll review, attendance tracking, marketing materials, and program improvement. May teach group exercise classes and respond to member feedback. Requires a group exercise certification, CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain, strong communication skills, community-service orientation, and ability to meet physical demands including lifting 40 pounds.

Leads and grows youth basketball leagues, including the Jr. Celtics League, serving approximately 100–150 participants. Coordinates schedules, games, practices, teams, coaches, officials, families, equipment, and program logistics. Creates an inclusive environment focused on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and participant safety. Communicates program information, resolves concerns, monitors participant experiences, and collaborates with YMCA leadership to strengthen and expand basketball programming.
