Manage and grow an assigned Minnesota territory by building relationships with independent insurance agencies, prospecting and recruiting partners, developing business plans, and collaborating with underwriting and internal teams. Conduct regular agency visits, provide coaching and training, analyze production and profitability, and share market insights to improve products and processes. Travel throughout the territory with occasional overnight trips (about 15-25%).

Lead and develop commercial underwriting teams, set underwriting strategy, partner cross-functionally to drive profitable growth, ensure compliance and strong customer experience, and manage agency/vendor relationships and regional business plans.

Process and apply customer and agent payments, reconcile daily receipts with bank deposits, research and correct payment application errors, manage collections, maintain unclaimed property records, document procedures, assist training, and collaborate across teams to resolve moderately complex problems while meeting customer experience standards.

Performs routine clerical support for commercial lines insurance: data entry for new business, renewals and endorsements; manual rating of coverages; record keeping; internal collaboration; customer-focused communication and problem-solving; completes reports and special projects as assigned.

Lead product implementation initiatives and manage a team of product implementation and business analysts. Drive discovery, assessment, business case development, requirements elicitation, testing, and execution. Coach and develop staff, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, standardize implementation practices, support resource planning and budgeting, and ensure compliance and customer-focused delivery to meet strategic objectives.

Support and advance the information security program by managing regulatory compliance and audits, performing third-party/vendor risk assessments, maintaining vendor risk registers, leading security awareness and phishing programs, mapping controls to frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS, NYDFS), tracking KPIs/KRIs, developing dashboards and executive reports, and coordinating with auditors, state insurance departments, and business stakeholders.

Collaborate with product teams to design, execute, and maintain automated tests; develop test automation using tools and frameworks; participate in code reviews, defect resolution, CI/CD pipeline troubleshooting, documentation, and process improvements to ensure reliable deployments and product quality.

Manage regulatory compliance and product filings for personal and commercial P&C insurance. Monitor legislation, update policy forms and rules, support actuarial rate changes, provide system and billing guidance, train analysts, and lead testing, auditing, and process improvements to ensure statutory compliance and product readiness.

Support Personal Lines Underwriting by processing new business and endorsements within authority limits, reviewing applications, gathering information, recommending solutions outside authority, communicating with agents and internal teams, improving processes, and maintaining strong agency relationships and customer service standards.

Manage and develop a personal lines underwriting team to drive profitable growth, enforce guidelines, coach staff, optimize processes, maintain agent and customer relationships, serve as referral underwriter, and participate in policy and system initiatives.

Provide administrative underwriting support by entering new business, renewals, and endorsements; maintain accurate records and reports; manually rate non-automated coverages; handle mailroom and indexing; support internal customers, solve moderately complex problems, complete special projects, and communicate with other departments to deliver strong customer service.

Provide routine clerical and administrative support: process new business applications and legal notices, maintain records, handle mail and scanning, prepare mailings, assist underwriting department, gather information, solve basic problems, and deliver consistent customer service.

Support personal lines underwriters by processing new business and endorsements, reviewing applications, gathering information, making recommendations within authority, building agency relationships, communicating with stakeholders, and improving processes with intermediate analytical skills.

Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve auto physical damage claims. Handle high-volume, low-to-moderate complexity claims, set reserves, coordinate outside resources, maintain documentation, and communicate with policyholders, agents, and vendors. Participate in improvements and perform field work as needed.
