Provide administrative underwriting support by entering new business, renewals, and endorsements; maintain accurate records and reports; manually rate non-automated coverages; handle mailroom and indexing; support internal customers, solve moderately complex problems, complete special projects, and communicate with other departments to deliver strong customer service.

Leads premium audit operations, managing and developing auditors while overseeing complex commercial account audits, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, performance metrics, disputes, and process improvements. Serves as a technical expert on premium audit methodologies, workers’ compensation and general liability classifications, regulatory interpretation, and audit documentation.

Provide routine clerical and administrative support: process new business applications and legal notices, maintain records, handle mail and scanning, prepare mailings, assist underwriting department, gather information, solve basic problems, and deliver consistent customer service.

Lead design and administration of compensation programs, including salary structures, market benchmarking, incentive plans, merit cycle management, Workday Advanced Compensation configuration, executive compensation support, compensation analyses and dashboards, policy and compliance maintenance, and cross-functional partnership with HR, Finance, Payroll, and leaders.

Provide administrative support to commercial lines underwriters and agencies by rating and entering transactions, routing work, maintaining records and reports, and delivering timely customer service within established procedures.

Lead and develop commercial underwriting teams, set underwriting strategy, partner cross-functionally to drive profitable growth, ensure compliance and strong customer experience, and manage agency/vendor relationships and regional business plans.

Lead product implementation initiatives and manage a team of product implementation and business analysts. Drive discovery, assessment, business case development, requirements elicitation, testing, and execution. Coach and develop staff, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, standardize implementation practices, support resource planning and budgeting, and ensure compliance and customer-focused delivery to meet strategic objectives.

Support and advance the information security program by managing regulatory compliance and audits, performing third-party/vendor risk assessments, maintaining vendor risk registers, leading security awareness and phishing programs, mapping controls to frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS, NYDFS), tracking KPIs/KRIs, developing dashboards and executive reports, and coordinating with auditors, state insurance departments, and business stakeholders.

Collaborate with product teams to design, execute, and maintain automated tests; develop test automation using tools and frameworks; participate in code reviews, defect resolution, CI/CD pipeline troubleshooting, documentation, and process improvements to ensure reliable deployments and product quality.

Manage regulatory compliance and product filings for personal and commercial P&C insurance. Monitor legislation, update policy forms and rules, support actuarial rate changes, provide system and billing guidance, train analysts, and lead testing, auditing, and process improvements to ensure statutory compliance and product readiness.

Manage and develop a personal lines underwriting team to drive profitable growth, enforce guidelines, coach staff, optimize processes, maintain agent and customer relationships, serve as referral underwriter, and participate in policy and system initiatives.
