Entry-level underwriting trainee supporting commercial lines underwriters: process new and renewal policies, review applications, gather information, make recommendations within authority, execute policy transactions, and communicate with agencies and underwriters.

Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve workers' compensation claims; set reserves; coordinate with internal and external stakeholders; manage case strategy, investigations, and vendor interactions; recommend solutions for complex cases and handle special projects. Occasional field travel required.

Entry-level underwriting trainee supporting underwriters with policy processing, reviews of new and renewal applications, information gathering, recommendations within authority, and agency communication. Participates in classroom and hands-on training to learn insurance underwriting fundamentals. Onsite role in Anchorage, AK; cohort begins August 2026.
