Reviews and validates accounting transactions, maintains financial controls, supports accurate reporting and audit-ready documentation, and ensures compliance with client-specific procedures. Builds client and stakeholder relationships, handles exceptions, contributes to process improvements, and supports knowledge sharing. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, communication, prioritization, reliability, and proficiency with accounting software and Excel.

Manage Australian bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, month-end and year-end close, and compliance activities including BAS, GST, PAYG and STP. Coordinate with clients and internal accounting teams, maintain accurate records, meet deadlines, support audits, and use accounting platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks Online, Dext and Business Central.

Process daily client accounting transactions, reconcile debtor, creditor, and bank accounts, follow up on payments, and maintain accurate financial records. Support analysts with transaction reviews, data analysis, compliance checks, reporting, and month-end close activities. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, team activities, professional development, and knowledge sharing while helping improve client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
