The Mechanical Project Engineer I supports the design, specification, and commissioning of material handling systems while ensuring customer requirements are met and conflicts are minimized during installation.

Perform 3-D simulation studies of material handling systems to validate performance, identify bottlenecks, optimize controls, and support sales and R&D. Develop models and algorithms, report findings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet requirements.

Support end-to-end sales by identifying customer needs, developing technical concepts and competitive quotations, converting material flow diagrams to layouts, managing pricing and procurement specs, and ensuring smooth handover to project implementation and operations.

Manage site warehouse operations including inventory control, security, staffing, equipment and layout, reporting via Hubble/Excel/Smartsheet/Procore, safety compliance, coordination with Supply Chain/Procurement and project teams to meet project schedules and efficiency goals.

Supervise on-site baggage handling operations and a small team, ensure contract compliance, manage system issues, coordinate with customers/TSA/airlines, produce reports, implement procedures, and drive continuous operational improvements.

Design and deliver baggage handling systems: create 3D conveyor models and 2D drawings, coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces, support project lifecycle from concept through commissioning, estimate mechanical scope budgets/timelines, lead layout teams, support site installation and testing, and drive continuous improvement and mentoring.

Design, engineer, and deliver LV power distribution systems for baggage handling and related infrastructure across the project lifecycle. Perform load calculations, SLDs, panel schedules, earthing design, coordination with OEMs and multidisciplinary teams, installation support, testing, and prepare as-built documentation and engineering deliverables.

Design and deliver lighting and socket electrical systems for industrial/BHS projects: conceptual and detailed design, load and lux calculations, DALI control design, SLDs, panel schedules, BIM coordination, shop drawings, and complete as-built documentation in CAD/PDF formats.

Design, develop, and commission large-scale Siemens-based control systems using TIA Portal and WinCC. Lead integration, validation, diagnostics, and documentation; manage planning, budgets, risk mitigation, cross-functional coordination, and mentor controls engineers.

As an Engineering Support Operative, assist with maintenance duties ensuring productivity and compliance. Perform operational checks, maintenance, and record work details.

The Project Manager II leads complex automated material handling projects, managing schedules, budgets, stakeholder relationships, and project permits in California, while traveling extensively.

Support the global Data Privacy team by identifying and documenting data processing activities, maintaining Records of Processing Activities (RoPA), assisting with DPIAs, vendor assessments, data subject requests, and contributing to privacy communications, training, and governance deliverables.

Build and maintain responsive, data-heavy web applications and dashboards using Angular and modern frontend technologies. Own feature development from prototype to launch, collaborate with UX, contribute to CI practices, mentor peers, and implement PoC learnings into production.
