Introduction to the RoleWe are seeking a Demand Manager Project Execution to serve as the procurement expert during the Project Execution phase, ensuring on-time, in-full delivery of products and services. You will be part of the Demand Management Sales & Project Execution domain within the broader Procurement department. This role is key in collaborating with engineering and project execution teams to minimize risk and ensure successful project completion.
ResponsibilitiesAct as the key point-of-contact for procurement-related activities during the Project Execution phase.
Execute procurement activities in line with the Supply Plan and relevant category strategies.
Advise stakeholders on default products/services and supplier options in case of specification changes.
Initiate and/or lead RFx events for non-itemized products and services.
Evaluate supplier proposals, coordinate should-cost modeling, and participate in negotiations.
Update procurement-related information in the project Supply Plan throughout execution.
Extensive experience in procurement, supply chain management, or project execution support within technical or engineering-focused organizations.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, RFx management, and supplier performance management.
Analytical skills to assess project requirements and supplier performance.
Experience in managing supplier escalations and implementing mitigation strategies.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to travel internationally up to [xx]% of the time.
University degree or higher education, preferably in technical engineering.
Advanced level of English (French is highly valuable).
