Partners with the Controller to manage county accounting operations, lead complex financial reporting, maintain accurate financial records, and drive continuous process improvement. The role operates onsite during regular business hours and may involve supervision, governmental accounting, and compliance with county financial procedures.

Provide clerical and secretarial support for Nursing Division programs (Welcome Baby focus). Perform varied administrative tasks to expedite daily clinic operations, using independent judgment on moderately difficult tasks. May be assigned across nursing programs; preference for bilingual candidates and strong typing skills.

Serve as appointed executive overseeing all county HR functions for ~1,200 employees: strategy, talent management, compensation and benefits, payroll, employee relations, organizational change, compliance, and executive counsel. Lead workforce planning, investigations, corrective actions, and risk mitigation while advising elected officials and department heads.

Conduct emissions inspections and investigations, ensure regulatory compliance, provide technical support, and develop/deliver training. Perform audits, diagnose automotive engine performance and emission control issues, and assist with enforcement and public health protection.

Serves as the county's chief administrator under the Board of Commissioners, planning, directing, and organizing county operations. Ensures efficient, lawful, and fiscally responsible service delivery, provides administrative continuity, implements commission directives, and manages county-wide administrative functions and staff.
