Provides on-site customer service and manages industrial inventory operations at a customer location. Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, pulling, and fulfilling orders; processing inventory transactions; replenishing and troubleshooting AutoCrib vending machines; managing point-of-use stations; resolving customer issues; and maintaining accurate material availability. Requires strong inventory, tool crib, material-handling, customer service, communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.

Improve manufacturing processes, develop operations sheets, standardize blueprints, communicate customer requirements, create cutting tool drawings, evaluate tool performance, determine appropriate tolerances, and quote new or reconditioned cutting tools. The role requires mechanical expertise, spatial visualization, geometric tolerancing knowledge, understanding of machine capability and variation, and proficiency with AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

Manage customer accounts and site managers to ensure contractual obligations, customer satisfaction, and program profitability. Oversee projects, inventory, reporting (Power BI, Value Docs), vendor/vending equipment operations, and conduct presentations. Mentor staff, pursue new business opportunities, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver quarterly business reviews to leadership. Some travel required.

Provide on-site tooling support: ensure tooling meets customer requirements, inspect and test tooling, troubleshoot applications, support new product applications, recommend tooling and process improvements, analyze data, and collaborate with engineers to boost productivity and reduce costs.

Manage all on-site operations at customer facilities including staff supervision, training, safety, inventory reconciliation, customer and supplier interactions, scheduling, project management, quoting support, and addressing customer concerns.

Provide technical support for cutting tools and abrasives, ensure tooling meets customer requirements, perform inspections and troubleshooting, support reconditioning and process improvements, lead projects, liaise with manufacturers and engineers, and analyze data to improve tooling applications.

Ensures tooling meets customer and production requirements through inspection, performance checks, application support, troubleshooting, and process improvement. Works with engineers to determine tooling needs, recommends machining and tooling modifications, supports reconditioning programs, facilitates manufacturer product introductions, and coordinates corrective actions. Manage, structure, and report company and customer data in a SQL-based environment. Build advanced SQL queries, dashboards (Power BI), automated processes (stored procedures, scheduled tasks, VBA/Excel), and analyses across accounting, manufacturing, procurement, inventory, and supply chain. Ensure data classification and security in a regulated environment and support cross-functional stakeholders.

Provide technical support for cutting tool applications, ensure tooling meets production and customer requirements, perform basic inspections and troubleshooting, support reconditioning and corrective actions, work with engineers and manufacturers, analyze data and lead process improvement projects, and support customer-facing product introductions.

Operate and set up machines using computer programs to clean and cutoff drills, follow safety and company procedures, perform physical tasks (standing, lifting, bending), and work as part of a team on 2nd shift.

Set up and operate splitting machines to process drills to tight tolerances, perform repetitive production runs, use measuring tools to verify quality, meet daily production goals, maintain and clean work area, and report machine issues to the shift supervisor.

Operate and maintain machining equipment (CNC, lathes, mills, grinders), run diverse production jobs, perform inspections and lubrication, address special projects, and maintain work quality and cleanliness while meeting close tolerances.

Operate and set up production machinery to meet tolerances and quality standards. Monitor output, use measuring tools, maintain tooling and paperwork, log production, and follow written/oral instructions while performing light lifting and primarily standing or sitting.

Provide IT support for Windows-based systems, desktops, laptops and mobile devices; manage virtualized and hybrid cloud environments; perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, vulnerability management, and network/host management; create SOPs and technical documentation; handle confidential/regulatory data; collaborate on projects and deliver customer-facing IT support.

Support production tooling and applications for customers: inspect and troubleshoot tooling, work with engineers and manufacturers, improve processes, support reconditioning, lead corrective actions and projects, and ensure tooling meets customer requirements.

Manage multi-site account operations for industrial customers, lead and mentor site managers, ensure contractual performance and profitability, produce customer reports and presentations, identify cost-savings and new business, manage projects and inventory, and support customer needs with frequent travel.

Supervise on-site warehouse/crib staff at a manufacturing customer facility: enforce safety and 5S, manage inventory and replenishment, handle timekeeping, assign cycle counts, resolve discrepancies, coach and discipline employees, support customer procurement and reporting, and provide off-hour/on-call support as needed.

Operate Hertlein flute grinding equipment, perform first-piece and ongoing quality inspections, maintain equipment (oil/hydraulic levels), follow 5S and safety procedures, complete documentation, and meet production and quality standards in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Support purchasing and pricing services by engaging suppliers, validating price files and policies, maintaining databases and department inboxes, preparing reports, and managing multiple administrative projects.
