The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, Microsoft Office proficiency, communication skills, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid, event-driven environment.

Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows using Python, PySpark, and SQL. Improve data quality, reliability, architecture, and governance while supporting analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, use Azure DevOps for CI/CD and release management, and mentor junior engineers. The role also involves API integration, cloud data platforms, testing, version control, and contributing to engineering best practices.

Build and manage Power BI dashboards and reports for fundraising performance, analyze large datasets and KPIs, identify trends, improve data workflows, and translate findings into clear recommendations. Partner with fundraising, marketing, analytics, and leadership teams to support data-driven decisions. The role requires advanced SQL, strong data visualization, fundraising or financial analytics experience, and a relevant bachelor’s degree.

Creates print and digital graphics for advertising, fundraising, marketing, communications, editorial, web, email, and social media. Collaborates with marketing, communications, fundraising, purchasing, and project management teams to deliver brand-aligned work on schedule and within budget. Maintains project records, prepares print-ready files, manages pre-press specifications, supports high-volume assignments, and provides progress updates to creative leadership.

Build and manage trusted relationships across Manhattan’s Jewish, civic, interfaith, and community organizations; identify local needs; connect communities to UJA resources; mobilize participation in civic engagement and communal initiatives; lead programs such as MLK Day programming and the Celebrate Israel Parade delegation; convene stakeholders; partner with volunteer leaders; and manage budgets, timelines, logistics, grants, and cross-organizational projects.

Lead and manage the BI and analytics team to deliver enterprise reporting, dashboards, and actionable insights across fundraising, programs, finance, and operations. Partner with stakeholders, data engineering, and IT to ensure scalable data infrastructure, governance, automation, and AI-enabled analytics while mentoring analysts and prioritizing work to drive data-informed decisions.

Lead donor cultivation and solicitation efforts for the Long Island division, conducting prospect research, stewarding high-net-worth donors, planning and executing fundraising and engagement events, supporting lay committees, and collaborating with other divisions to grow annual campaign revenue.

Lead community engagement across Brooklyn by building relationships with synagogues, schools, and grassroots groups; convene stakeholders; design and manage place-based programs and grants; represent UJA at events; cultivate interfaith and cross-cultural partnerships; manage the Brooklyn Advisory Council and deliver multi-stakeholder projects on time and within budget.

Lead development of a unified financial measurement and impact framework linking grants, program outcomes, and strategy. Oversee impact evaluations, translate findings into actionable insights, implement automated Salesforce-integrated financial dashboards, improve data collection, set measurable goals, and collaborate across planning, operations, and data teams.

Provide program and event logistics, support grants management and internal systems, maintain records and data, coordinate invoices/contracts and participant communications, assist with Talent Development and Network initiatives, and support process improvements and cross-team collaboration to ensure smooth execution of departmental priorities.

Lead advocacy, government relations, and public policy initiatives; cultivate relationships with elected officials and partners; plan mission days, legislative visits, and events; manage the Government Relations Council; mobilize lay leaders; monitor policy developments; and run cross-departmental special projects to advance UJA's strategic priorities.
