The hybrid role requires working from Tubi’s Los Angeles office two days per week.

Leads Tubi’s scaled creator acquisition strategy, building systems, processes, KPIs, and partner relationships to expand its non-exclusive creator library. Partners with Product to improve onboarding and content delivery, coordinates cross-functional workstreams, identifies high-performing creators for deeper partnerships, communicates strategy to leadership, and represents Tubi externally. Manages people and applies creator-economy expertise across platforms including YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.

Manage and mentor backend software engineers while leading the architecture and operation of high-performance APIs, distributed Kubernetes microservices, API gateways, metadata systems, and multi-platform integrations. Establish engineering standards, observability, security, scalability, disaster recovery, and responsible AI development practices. Partner cross-functionally to support personalization, content platforms, regulatory compliance, and reliable service during high-traffic global events.

Develop and maintain iOS, tvOS, and visionOS streaming applications using Swift and SwiftUI. Design scalable, testable architectures, integrate RESTful backend services, optimize audio/video playback and buffering, analyze performance, and collaborate cross-functionally on new features. Participate in code reviews, estimation, troubleshooting, automated testing, and applying AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

Leads Tubi’s consumer and brand communications strategy, shaping narratives, earned-first campaigns, product storytelling, cultural participation, and media relationships. Partners with Brand, Product, Social, Content, research, analytics, finance, and agencies to create compelling stories, identify cultural opportunities, translate platform innovation for consumers, and measure impact beyond media impressions.

Produces integrated, multi-channel entertainment campaigns across video, motion graphics, social, digital, print, and on-platform assets. Partners with creative and cross-functional teams, manages timelines, budgets, vendors, shoots, feedback, documentation, and delivery pipelines across multiple concurrent titles. Ensures creative quality, technical compliance, brand consistency, and alignment from concept through final delivery.

Build and ship Tubi’s Cobalt-based native runtime for connected TV apps. Responsibilities include maintaining Starboard platform integrations, developing C++ and Rust modules with safe FFI, optimizing startup and memory performance, debugging Android hardware, managing upstream updates and security patches, supporting media pipelines, building CI and developer tooling, collaborating with device partners, and mentoring engineers.

Apply machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical analysis, and causal inference to large datasets and product analytics. Develop insights and recommendations for recommendation systems and user experiences. Evaluate experiments through planning, monitoring, and post-analysis, build data pipelines and tools, and communicate complex findings to stakeholders to support business decisions.

Reviews advertising, promotional, and streaming content for compliance with Tubi policies, legal standards, industry guidelines, and ratings frameworks. Applies written policies consistently, evaluates advertiser-submitted claims, documents findings, recommends restrictions or removals, escalates policy issues, and collaborates with Legal, Sales, Ad Operations, Content, and producers. The role also analyzes industry practices, supports operational improvements, and requires a Wednesday-Sunday hybrid schedule with weekend work.

Leads product strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes for Tubi’s discovery, recommendations, ranking, search, personalization, and AI experiences. Partners with engineering, machine learning, and data science teams on advanced recommendation systems, deep learning, foundation models, experimentation, and content understanding. Evaluates emerging AI technologies, drives viewer engagement and retention, informs content acquisition decisions, and manages a high-performing product team.

Leads Product Support Operations across technical program management and customer experience. Owns company-level programs, AI-enabled operating systems, customer support operations, planning cycles, executive reviews, and organizational communications. Develops teams, advises executives, manages portfolios, and personally builds agentic workflows and automation while coordinating complex initiatives across engineering, product, design, data science, finance, and external partners.

Leads go-to-market strategy and execution for Tubi’s exclusive creator titles. Develops audience-first positioning, launch plans, creator fandom activation, experimentation frameworks, and performance measurement. Partners cross-functionally with Content, Creator, Marketing, Growth, Social, PR, Analytics, and channel teams. Translates campaign insights into recommendations, repeatable playbooks, and portfolio-level strategies that improve audience conversion and marketing effectiveness.

Partners with Engineering and Product leaders on organizational strategy, talent management, employee engagement, development, compensation planning, onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and employee experience. Leads cross-functional people programs, coaches executives, analyzes HR data and trends, manages stakeholder alignment, anticipates organizational risks, and improves People Team processes and operational efficiency.

Own the end-to-end performance improvement plan process, coach managers through difficult performance conversations, and partner with HRBPs on talent programs. Design initiatives that improve manager effectiveness, use workforce analytics to inform strategy, lead cross-functional performance efforts, and analyze intervention trends. The role requires balancing multiple PIPs and programs while ensuring fair, consistent, legally sound documentation and outcomes.

Lead ML engineering and infrastructure teams to design, build, and scale end-to-end ML systems (recommendation, personalization, ads), architect distributed low-latency serving and streaming platforms, oversee ML pipelines, ensure reliability, observability, cost efficiency, and partner with product and engineering to deliver ML-driven experiences.

The Staff Software Engineer will design distributed systems, drive architectural direction, mentor engineers, and integrate AI into backend development while ensuring scalability and resilience.

Lead design, development, and maintenance of Rust-based backend services and tools. Architect high-performance, scalable, observable systems, integrate AI-powered coding tools, mentor engineers, and drive technical vision and roadmap decisions across cross-functional teams.

The Machine Learning Engineer will design, develop, and implement advanced recommendation systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance personalization for a global audience.

Lead and manage the Content Acquisitions Legal team, advise on content licensing and partnerships, draft and negotiate content acquisition and distribution agreements, establish processes and templates, collaborate cross-functionally (Marketing, Product, Finance, Fox Legal), handle content-related legal issues (IP, DRM, privacy, sponsorships), train and support legal team members, and escalate material risks to the General Counsel.

Lead architecture and implementation of an AI-centric internal platform: design extraction pipelines, confidence scoring, cross-system aggregation, resilient interfaces, and production-grade ML integrations.
