Lead Treeswift’s machine learning team and technical direction, improving model quality, training and inference pipelines, MLOps, and edge deployment. Develop models using sensor data such as images, video, LiDAR, and point clouds. Establish dataset curation, evaluation, and feedback processes, collaborate with software, robotics, hardware, and product teams, and mentor engineers across distributed offices.

Coordinate interviews across hiring teams, manage candidate communication and interview logistics, maintain accurate ATS records, support offers and sourcing, and improve recruiting workflows. The role partners with recruiters and hiring managers to keep searches organized and moving forward while strengthening candidate experience. It requires strong organization, communication, follow-through, and comfort working in a fast-paced NYC startup environment.

Own full-cycle enterprise sales into electric utilities and infrastructure: generate new opportunities, manage complex multi-stakeholder deals, convert pilots to enterprise deployments, guide contracting and procurement, represent technical product value, build ROI-driven business cases, and drive multi-year account strategies while partnering cross-functionally to support adoption and expansion.

Lead development of perception, mapping, sensor fusion, and calibration systems. Improve SLAM for GPS-degraded environments, automate LiDAR and imagery alignment across sessions, eliminate field extrinsic measurements, and improve data quality and scalability for large-scale mapping and analytics delivery.

Embed with utility customers to deploy and integrate Treeswift sensors and software, configure platforms, train users, build data integrations and APIs, extend the web platform and Python models, and perform analyses to validate and operationalize LiDAR and imagery data.

Design and build new workflows and features for a web platform used by utilities; own end-to-end feature delivery; scale tooling and CI/CD; collaborate with hardware, ML, and customer teams to deliver reliable, secure, customer-focused UI/UX for work planning, construction, and disaster response.

Design, build, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and DAGs (Airflow) that process imagery, LiDAR, and other sensor data. Improve platform reliability, observability, resource tuning, and Kubernetes deployments. Collaborate with ML, hardware, and full-stack teams; own pipeline design, implementation, testing, and operations in a hybrid NYC role.

Own full-cycle recruiting for Hardware and Robotics roles; partner with hiring managers to define requirements; proactively source passive candidates; build pipelines across electrical, embedded, firmware, mechanical, perception, and systems disciplines; drive excellent candidate experience; evolve interview and offer practices; represent Treeswift and sell the hardware vision.

Lead deployments and expansion at strategic utility customers: train users, define project requirements, track deliveries, present results to executives, and identify growth opportunities. Act as the customer-facing product partner, translating field needs into product features and collaborating closely with engineering and product teams.
