Leads complex, cross-functional Technical Operations projects from concept through launch. Develops project plans, manages timelines, budgets, risks, resources, documentation, and governance, and coordinates stakeholders across R&D, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, finance, regulatory, and commercial teams. The role supports production optimization, technology transfers, compliance initiatives, cost savings, business continuity, product growth, and line extensions while applying Stage Gate, project management, operational excellence, Lean, and Six Sigma practices.

Manages enterprise strategy execution by translating strategic priorities into actionable plans, coordinating cross-functional dependencies, maintaining governance cadences, tracking KPIs and milestones, and facilitating executive decision-making. Supports annual planning, resource alignment, initiative prioritization, executive communications, and post-mortems. The role also develops dashboards, scorecards, and tracking infrastructure while identifying risks, tradeoffs, and corrective actions across strategic initiatives.

Leads Thorne’s CAPA program across internal manufacturing, contract manufacturers, and suppliers. Responsibilities include coordinating investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, effectiveness checks, documentation, metrics, audits, regulatory inspections, training, and continuous improvement. The specialist partners cross-functionally to ensure timely, compliant, and sustainable resolution of quality events under cGMP and FDA expectations.

Manage and validate the organization's Learning Management System to ensure regulatory compliance (FDA, TGA, NSF). Oversee system configuration, validation lifecycle, change control, audit readiness, training administration, data reconciliation with HRIS, reporting, and end-user support. Partner with Regulatory and Quality to maintain inspection readiness and support L&D operations.

Lead supplier quality and audit activities, manage CAPA and change control, investigate complaints and adverse events, oversee stability and PQRs, maintain supplier qualifications and agreements, support regulatory audits and SOPs, and drive continuous quality improvements in a cGMP manufacturing environment.

Support enterprise project management by preparing status reports, tracking KPIs, managing risks and dependencies, and building dashboards. Assist with portfolio analysis, business case and ROI tracking, executive presentations, and cross-functional stakeholder communication. Perform data validation, analysis, and executive‑ready reporting to support timely project execution.

Lead platform strategy, architecture, and hands-on development. Design, build, deploy, and operate high-performance, fault-tolerant integrations and platform enhancements. Drive security/compliance, mentor engineers, recruit senior talent, align technology with business goals, and communicate technical vision to stakeholders.

Coordinate and document QC laboratory analyses, generate and review certificates of analysis, enter and verify outside lab results in LIMS, support batch release and ISO 17025/cGMP compliance, and maintain accurate QC records.

Lead engineering projects from concept through equipment installation, commissioning, and validation. Create equipment specs, RFQs, AutoCAD plant layouts, CAD models, project schedules and budgets. Manage cross-functional teams, oversee FAT/SAT and IQ/OQ/PQ activities, support process controls, SOP/change control, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and mentor junior engineers.

Supervise daily analytical laboratory operations on a weekend night shift, lead and train staff, manage workflows, review data and documentation, oversee instrument maintenance and compliance with GLP/cGMP/ISO17025, lead OOS investigations, partner with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement and data integrity.
