Provides routine care, husbandry, welfare monitoring, water-quality maintenance, housekeeping, and technical procedures for laboratory aquatic animals. Maintains facility records, supports equipment operation, follows regulatory and animal welfare requirements, and communicates with researchers, students, suppliers, and colleagues. The role includes rostered weekend and on-call shifts and requires compliance with health monitoring, medical clearance, and laboratory animal safety procedures.

The role requires active medical registration and clinical practice in Australia, strong curriculum and assessment expertise, leadership capability, and commitment to inclusive educational excellence.

Coordinates delivery of an ARC-funded research project, including planning, milestones, events, stakeholder engagement, communications, dissemination, budgeting, expenditure tracking, reporting, and impact analysis. Works with academic, government, industry, donor, alumni, and project participants to deliver strategic and operational outcomes.

Coordinates widening participation outreach programs, workshops, events, and Ambassador and Mentor activities. The role also contributes to research evaluation programs, capability-building initiatives, and Library projects, while deputising for the Manager when required.

Develop culturally responsive educational content, learning resources, and digital materials supporting student employability and career development. Collaborate with Indigenous communities, students, academics, and professional teams to embed Indigenous perspectives and pedagogies. Provide culturally informed guidance, evaluate programs, analyze feedback and data, and drive continuous improvement in learning experiences and student outcomes.

Leads data governance and business analysis activities, including requirements elicitation, risk analysis, conceptual data modeling, business glossary and information catalogue development, and governance documentation. Partners with stakeholders and the Solution Architect to develop data architecture frameworks and resolve data issues. Manages changes to enterprise data artefacts and supervises a Data Governance Officer.

Provides discipline-specific scholarly information services for university faculty, students, researchers, and academic staff. Responsibilities include research support, bibliometrics, research data management advice, information literacy programs, collection development, academic liaison, library documentation, committee participation, and support for library projects. The role may also mentor or supervise library staff and requires strong knowledge of academic publishing, information resources, research metrics, and library technologies.

Leads operational sustainability initiatives across university campuses, covering biodiversity, water, waste, environmental performance, and behavior change. Develops business cases, grant applications, policies, and project proposals; coordinates multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors; monitors sustainability performance and compliance; builds internal and external partnerships; and delivers communications and education programs that produce measurable environmental outcomes.
