Lead business and administrative operations for the Queensland Emory Vaccine Centre, including governance, financial planning, workforce coordination, infrastructure administration, compliance, project delivery, and continuous improvement. Provide operational advice and decision support to directors and committees while coordinating stakeholders across UQ, Emory University, government, research groups, funding bodies, and external partners. Support strategic research infrastructure initiatives, partnership milestones, access platforms, and effective delivery within a complex research environment.

Provides visionary academic and organisational leadership for the School of Mathematics and Physics. Responsibilities include shaping strategic direction, advancing teaching and research excellence, securing funding, supporting publication and postgraduate supervision, managing resources, building partnerships, fostering inclusion, and leading a large multidisciplinary academic and professional community.

Develop strategic research partnerships with industry, investors, government, and research organizations. Coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives, including business cases, investment proposals, workshops, and collaborative research opportunities. Identify co-investment and commissioned research prospects, support research commercialisation and intellectual property translation, and build productive stakeholder relationships. Prepare compelling proposals and briefing materials while managing competing priorities within agriculture, food, and university research environments.
